UPDATE: May 13, 2020 – We have begun the process of bringing back physicians and staff in a gradual fashion to make sure our safety processes are in place and are working well. On Monday, May 18, we will begin to open up on a more substantial level. There will be multiple doctors in the office seeing patients and our phone lines will be open for those seeking to make appointments. We will continue to make the safety of our patients and staff the top priority as we try our best to resume providing much-needed care to our patients.
May 5, 2020 – We at Iowa Eye Center would like to express our sincere thanks to our community, patients and staff for their continued patience as we all do our part to get through the COVID-19 crisis. We realize that we will still be dealing with the risks of COVID-19 for months to come. Iowa Eye Center is committed to resuming eye care for our patients in a safe and responsible way. The safety of our patients, staff and our community are our first priority. With that in mind we have put procedures in place to ensure that our facility is as safe as possible for our patients and staff. This includes screening of patients and staff, observing proper social distancing guidelines, cleaning and disinfecting protocols, and personal protective measures for patients and staff. We will begin the process of contacting patients for appointments in the near future. We ask that you continue to be patient as we try our best to reschedule those whose appointments were cancelled, those with upcoming appointments, and those new patients trying to schedule. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and at the same time prioritize your safety. We look forward to seeing our patients and staff as we transition back to providing the quality eye care you have come to expect from Iowa Eye Center.
